1991 – 2016 வரையிலான காலகட்டத்தில் தமிழக முதல்வராக 14 ஆண்டுகள் பதவி வகித்தவர் ஜெயலலிதா. நடிகையாக அறிமுகமாகி பல்வேறு தடைகளைக் கடந்து அ.தி.மு.க தலைமைக்கு வந்த அவர், பலரின் ரோல்மாடலாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுபவர். அரசியலில் தனித்த அடையாளத்தோடு வலம்வந்த ஜெயலலிதா துணிச்சலான முடிவுகளை எடுப்பதற்குப் பெயர் போனவர்.
எம்.ஜி.ஆர் உடல்நலக் குறைவால் அமெரிக்க மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சையில் இருந்தபோது, ஜெயலலிதா பிரசாரத்தை முடக்க அ.தி.மு.க-வின் சீனியர் தலைவர்கள் சிலர் திட்டமிட்டு காய் நகர்த்தினர். ஆனால், அதையெல்லாம் முறியடித்து வெற்றிகரமாக தேர்தல் பிரசாரத்தை மேற்கொண்டார். அ.தி.மு.க-வின் தலைமைக் கழகச் செயலாளராக நியமிக்கப்பட்டபோது, பொதுக்கூட்டம் ஒன்றில் கலந்துகொள்ளாத சீனியர்கள் சிலருக்கு, கூட்டத்தில் கலந்துகொள்ளாதது ஏன் எனக் கேள்வியோடு விளக்கம் கேட்டு நோட்டீஸ் அனுப்பினார். எம்.ஜி.ஆர் இருக்கும்போது ஜெயலலிதா எடுத்த இந்த முடிவு துணிச்சலானதாக அப்போது பேசப்பட்டது. அதேபோல், எம்.ஜி.ஆர் இறந்தபிறகு தலைமைக் கழகத்துக்கு ஜெயலலிதா போகக் கூடாது என்று ஜானகி உத்தரவிட்டார். ஆனால், அப்போது அ.தி.மு.க தலைமைக் கழகத்துக்கு முன்னால் சென்று போராட்டத்தையும் நடத்தினார். அதேபோல், சட்டப்பேரவையில் கருணாநிதி பட்ஜெட்டைத் தாக்கல் செய்துகொண்டிருந்தபோது, அந்த பட்ஜெட்டைப் பிடுங்கி கிழித்தெறிந்த நிகழ்வும் நடந்திருக்கிறது. அதனால், பெரிய அளவில் அமளியே நடந்தது வரலாறு…. இப்படி ஜெயலலிதா வாழ்வில் ஆக்ரோஷமாக, துணிச்சலான எத்தனையோ தருணங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. அதன்பிறகு, தமிழக முதல்வாராகவும் பொதுச்செயலாளராக அ.தி.மு.க-வை எப்படி வழிநடத்தினார் என்பதும் நமக்கெல்லாம் தெரியும்.
ஆனால், என்ன செய்வதென்றே தெரியாமல் ஜெயலலிதா கலங்கி நின்ற தருணங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. அப்படி, ஜெயலலிதா கலங்கி நின்ற தருணங்கள் பற்றிதான் நாம இப்போ தெரிஞ்சுக்கப் போறோம்.
- ஜெயலலிதா, தனது வாழ்வின் ஆகப்பெரிய துணையாக நினைத்தது அவரது தாயார் சந்தியாவை. வெகுளியாக, உலகம் தெரியாத பதின் பருவத்திலேயே நடிக்க வந்துவிட்ட அவரின் மொத்த நம்பிக்கையும் தனது தாயார்தான் என்று நினைத்திருந்தவர். அப்படிப்பட்ட தாய் சந்தியாவின் மரணம், ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு பேரிடியாக இருந்தது. தாயின் மரணத்துக்குப் பின்னர் பல மாதங்கள் ரொம்பவே உடைந்து போய்விட்டார் ஜெயலலிதா. இனிமேல் நமக்குத் துணை யார்… வாழ்வு எப்படி இருக்கப்போகிறது போன்ற கேள்விகள் எழுந்த நிலையில், அந்த இழப்பில் இருந்து மீண்டுவர ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு நீண்டகாலம் பிடித்திருக்கிறது. தாய் சந்தியாவின் இடத்தை யாரும் நிரப்பவில்லை. ஆனால், தோழியாக சசிகலா அந்த இடத்தைக் கச்சிதமாக நிரப்பியதாலேயே, இறுதிவரை அவரை விட்டு ஜெயலலிதா பிரியவே இல்லை.
- முதலமைச்சர் உள்ளிட்ட பொது ஊழியர்கள் மீது வழக்குத் தொடர ஆளுநரின் அனுமதி தேவை என்ற நிலை இருந்தது. 1991-96 காலகட்டத்தில் ஜெயலலிதா முதல்வராக இருந்தபோது, தமிழக ஆளுநராக சென்னா ரெட்டி இருந்தார். அப்போது, ஜெயலலிதா வருமானத்துக்கு அதிகமாக சொத்துக் குவித்துவிட்டதாகக் கூறி அவர் மீது வழக்குத் தொடர சுப்ரமணியன் சுவாமி தயாரானார். அதற்காக ஆளுநரின் அனுமதியையும் அவர் வாங்கினார். இந்தத் தகவலை சுப்ரமணிய சுவாமியே பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பை நடத்தி அறிவித்தார். இந்த செய்தி ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு ஆத்திரமூட்டியதோடு, அச்சத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது. அப்போது தனது அறையின் மேஜையில் இருந்த பொருட்களை எல்லாம் கீழே தள்ளிவிட்டதோடு, அங்கிருந்த மூத்த அமைச்சர்களையெல்லாம் கடுமையாகக் கடிந்தும் கொண்டார். இந்த விவகாரம் குறித்து பேசுவதற்காக அப்போதைய குடியரசுத் தலைவர் வெங்கட்ராமனையும் ஜெயலலிதா தொடர்புகொண்டு பேசினார். ஆனால், தேவையில்லாமல் எதையும் செய்துவிடாதீர்கள். வழக்கை நீங்கள் சந்தித்தே ஆக வேண்டும் என்று நெகட்டிவாகவே பதில் வந்திருக்கிறது. இது ஜெயலலிதாவை ரொம்பவே கலங்கடித்திருக்கிறது.
- அந்நியச் செலவாணி மோசடி வழக்கில் ஜெயலலிதாவின் நெருங்கிய தோழியான சசிகலா, கடந்த 1996-ம் ஆண்டு ஜூன் 20-ம் தேதி கைது செய்யப்பட்டார். தினகரனின் சகோதரர் பாஸ்கரனும் இந்த வழக்கில் கைதானார். தேர்தலில் தோல்வியைத் தழுவியிருந்த நேரத்தில், தோழியின் கைதும் அவரை அசைத்துப் பார்த்தது. அத்தோடு சிறையில் இருந்த சசிகலாவுக்கு ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு எதிராக அப்ரூவர் ஆகும்படி பல வகைகளில் தொல்லைகளும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. இந்தத் தகவலைக் கேள்விப்பட்டு ஜெயலலிதா கலங்கித்தான் போனார். கிட்டத்தட்ட 10 மாதங்களுக்கு மேலாக சிறையில் இருந்த சசிகலா, ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு எதிராக வாய் திறக்கவில்லை. அந்த 10 மாதங்களும் ஜெயலலிதாவுக்கு கலக்கத்திலேயே இருந்திருக்கிறார். இந்த சம்பவத்துக்குப் பிறகுதான் சசிகலா, ஜெயலலிதா நட்பு இறுக்கமானது.
- ஜெயா டிவிக்கு வெளிநாட்டில் இருந்து பொருட்கள் வாங்கியதில் முறைகேடு நடந்ததாக ஜெயலலிதா மீது வழக்குப் போடப்பட்டது. அதுதொடர்பாக செய்தியாளர்களைச் சந்தித்து அவர் விளக்கம் கொடுத்தார். வழக்கத்துக்கு மாறாக வாட்டமாக இருந்த ஜெயலலிதா, வெளிநாட்டில் இருந்து பொருட்களை வாங்குவதற்கு என்ன மாதிரியான கட்டுப்பாடுகள் இருக்கின்றன என்பது பற்றி எனக்குத் தெரியாது. அது தெரிந்திருந்தால், நிச்சயம் அவற்றைக் கடைபிடித்திருப்பேன். மற்ற நிறுவனங்கள் எல்லாம் எப்படி வாங்குகிறார்களோ அப்படித்தான் வாங்கினேன் என்று சொன்னார். அதேபோல், இந்த வழக்கில் கைதாகி சென்னை சென்ட்ரல் மத்திய சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தபோதும் ஜெயலலிதா ரொம்பவே கலங்கிப் போய்விட்டாரம். சிறையில் அவர் இருந்த அறைக்குள் ஒருநாள் பெருச்சாலிகள் வந்துவிடவே, பயந்துபோன ஜெயலலிதா கத்தி, கூச்சலிட்டிருக்கிறார். இதையடுத்து, அப்போது ஜெயிலராக இருந்த ராமச்சந்திரன், தனது சொந்த செலவில் சிமெண்ட் உள்ளிட்டவைகளை வாங்கி பெருச்சாலிகள் வராமல் அறையில் இருந்த துளைகளை சரி செய்து கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். இனிமேல் பெருச்சாலிகள் வராது என அவர் நம்பிக்கை கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்.
- ஜெயலலிதா சாலை வழிப் பயணங்களை அதிகம் விரும்பமாட்டார். கன்னியாகுமரி போன்ற இடங்களுக்கு ஹெலிகாப்டரில் சென்று பிரசாரம் செய்த நிகழ்வுகளும் உண்டு. முதல்வராக இருக்கும்போதும் சரி, எதிர்க்கட்சி வரிசையில் இருந்தாலும் சரி ஓய்வு எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்தால், கொடநாடு செல்வது ஜெயலலிதாவின் வழக்கம். அங்கு சில நாட்கள் தங்கியிருந்து சென்னை திரும்புவதுண்டு. முதலமைச்சராக இருக்கும்போது கொடநாடு பங்களாவில் முகாம் அலுவலகமும் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். அப்படி ஒருமுறை கொடநாடு பயணத்தின் போது இவர் பயணித்த விமானத்தில் சிறிய தொழில்நுட்பக் கோளாறு ஏற்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அதை சமாளித்து விமானி பத்திரமாக தரையிறக்கியிருக்கிறார். பெரிய பிரச்னை இல்லை என்றாலும், அந்த ஒரு சில நிமிடங்கள் அவருக்குப் பதற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறது.
- முதுமலை யானைகள் முகாமில் இருந்த 6 வயது குட்டியானைக்கு `காவேரி’ என ஜெயலலிதா பெயர் சூட்டினார். 2013 ஜூலை 30-ம் தேதி முதுமலைக்குச் சென்ற ஜெயலலிதா, அந்த யானைக்கு பழங்களைக் கொடுத்தார். குட்டி யானை காவேரியும் அவருக்கு வரவேற்பு அளித்தது. ஆனால், சிறிது நேரத்தில் கூட்டத்தைப் பார்த்து மிரண்டுபோன குட்டி யானை காவேரி, அவரை முட்டித் தள்ளியது. நல்லவேளையாக அவருக்குக் காயங்கள் எதுவும் ஏற்படவில்லை.
- சொத்துக்குவிப்பு வழக்கில் நீதிபதி மைக்கேல் டி.குன்ஹா தீர்ப்பளித்த நாள் செப்டம்பர் 27, 2014. வழக்கில் இருந்து விடுதலையாகிவிடுவோம் என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடனேயே பரப்பன அக்ரஹாராவுக்குப் புறப்பட்டுச் சென்றிருக்கிறார் ஜெயலலிதா. கிளம்பும் முன் போயஸ் கார்டன் பிள்ளையார் கோயிலுக்குச் சென்று வழிபட்டுவிட்டு, மதிய உணவுக்கு வீட்டுக்கு வந்துவிடுவோம் என்று சமையல்காரர் ராஜம் அம்மாளிடம் தனக்குப் பிடித்த உணவுகளை சமைத்துவைக்கச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். ஆனால், நீதிமன்றத்துக்குள் சென்றவுடன் நீங்கள் குற்றவாளி என்று தீர்ப்பளிக்கிறேன். தண்டனை விவரங்களை மதியம் அறிவிக்கிறேன். அதுவரை அங்கிருக்கும் பெஞ்சில் நீங்கள் அமரலாம் என்று நீதிபதி மைக்கேல் டி குன்ஹா தீர்ப்பளித்ததும் ஜெயலலிதா இடிந்துபோயிருக்கிறார். நீதிபதி குன்ஹாவின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டதும், தனது வாழ்நாளில் அதற்கு முன்பு கலங்கிய தருணங்களை எல்லாம் விட பயங்கரமாகக் கலங்கிவிட்டார். அந்தத் தீர்ப்பு ஜெயலலிதாவை மொத்தமாக முடக்கிப் போட்டது. அவரது மன உறுதி, உடல் ஆரோக்கியம் என கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக அசைக்கப்பட்ட தருணம் அது. அந்த அதிர்ச்சியில் இருந்து அவர் மீண்டு வரவே இல்லை. அதேபோல், சொத்துக் குவிப்பு வழக்கில் இறுதித் தீர்ப்பு என உச்ச நீதிமன்றம் அறிவித்த செய்தி வெளியாகி சில மணி நேரங்களில் ஜெயலலிதா மயக்கமடைந்தார். அப்போது, அப்போலோ மருத்துவமனைக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்ட அவர், போயஸ் கார்டன் வீட்டுக்கு சடலமாகவே எடுத்து வரப்பட்டார்.
