சில நாள்களுக்குப் பிறகு ஒரு உள்ளூர் வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளரின் கண்களில் இந்த எல்லைக்கல் நகர்த்தி வைக்கப்பட விபரம் தெரிய வருகிறது. இதன் மூலமாக பெல்ஜியத்தின் பரப்பளவு அதிகமாகவும், பிரான்சின் பரப்பளவு குறைந்திருப்பதும் தெரிய வருகிறது.

பிரான்சும் லேசாக சிரித்துவிட்டு இந்தப் பிரச்சினையை உடனடியாக சரிசெய்ய வேண்டும் என்று தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
எல்லைக்கல்லை நகர்த்தி வைத்த விவசாயியே மீண்டும் சரியான இடத்தில் அந்தக் கல்லை நிறுவ வேண்டும் என இப்போது முடிவாகி இருக்கிறது.
இதே சம்பவம் 80 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு நடந்திருந்தால் மூன்றாம் உலகப்போர் கூட நடந்திருக்கும்.

Personally, I enjoyed the photojournalism aspect of it, as it just as easily could have been another paint-by-numbers war film. It also shows a potential future where each side reaches their breaking point and conflict does ensue.
