தன் கூடவே இருந்த நண்பர்களுக்காக ஒரு படம் – வள்ளி, தன்னுடன் தொடர்ந்து 20 படங்களுக்கு மேல் பணியாற்றிய டெக்னீஷியனுக்காக ஒரு படம் – பாண்டியன், நஷ்டப்பட்டவர்களுக்காகவும் கஷ்டப்பட்டவர்களுக்காகவும் ஒரு படம் – அருணாச்சலம். இப்படி யாராவது செஞ்சிருக்காங்களானு சொல்லச் சொல்லுங்க. இப்படி அவரது நல்ல குணத்துக்குத்தான் இந்த விருது கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. அதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், ரஜினிக்கு சம்பந்தமே இல்லாத பலருக்கும் உதவிக்கரம் நீட்டியிருக்கிறார். எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் வலதுகரமாக இருந்தவர் பத்மநாபன். அவருக்கு 6 பெண் பிள்ளைகள். அவர்களது திருமணத்துக்காக ஒரு பெரும் தொகையை எடுத்துக் கொடுத்தவர் ரஜினி. அது எவ்வளவுன்னு நான் சொல்ல மாட்டேன்.
அவர் என்னை எப்போதும் மறந்ததில்லை. நான்தான் அவரிடம் போனதில்லை. இதை மேடையிலேயே ரஜினி பேசியிருக்கிறார். `இவர் எப்ப பாரு நல்ல இருக்கேன். நல்லா இருக்கேன்னு சொல்லிட்டு போய்விடுவார். நானாவது பத்து படங்கள் அவருக்குப் பண்ணிக் கொடுத்திருக்கணும். முட்டாள்தனம் பண்ணிவிட்டேன்’ என ரஜினி மேடையிலேயே சொன்னார். இப்படி யாராவது சொல்லுவாங்களா? எனக்கு வீடு வாங்கிக் கொடுங்கன்னு அவர்கிட்ட நான் சொல்லவே இல்லை. சிவக்குமார் மூலமா எனக்கு சொந்த வீடு இல்லைங்கிற தகவல் ரஜினிகிட்ட போயிருக்கு. நானே எதிர்பார்க்கல. மறுநாளே பணத்தைக் கொடுத்து அவருக்கு வீடு வாங்கிக் கொடுங்கன்னு பாரதிராஜாகிட்ட பொறுப்பை ஒப்படைத்துவிட்டார். நான் அந்த மரியாதையை என்றுமே தவறாகப் பயன்படுத்தியதில்லை’’ என்று பழைய நினைவுகளைப் பகிர்ந்தார் கலைஞானம்.
ரஜினி நடித்த முதல் படமான பைரவியைத் தயாரித்தவர் கலைஞானம். தமிழ் சினிமாவின் முன்னோடி தயாரிப்பாளர்களில் ஒருவரான கலைஞானம், தங்கத்திலே வைரம், மிருதங்க சக்கரவத்தி, இளஞ்ஜோடிகள், காதல்படுத்தும் பாடு, அன்பைத் தேடி போன்ற படங்கள் இவர் தயாரிப்பில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவை. சினிமா நிகழ்ச்சி ஒன்றில் வீடு எதுவும் இல்லாமல் கஷ்டப்படும் நிலையில் தயாரிப்பாளர் கலைஞானம் இருப்பதாக நடிகர் சிவக்குமார் கடந்த 2019-ல் பேசியிருந்தார். இதைக்கேள்விப்பட்ட ரஜினி, இயக்குநர் பாரதிராஜாவை அழைத்து கலைஞானத்துக்கு வீடு வாங்குவது குறித்து பேசியிருக்கிறார். அத்தோடு, கலைஞானத்துக்கு வாங்கிக் கொடுத்த வீட்டின் கிரகப்பிரவேச நிகழ்ச்சியிலும் கலந்துகொண்டு அவரை மகிழ்வித்தார் ரஜினி.
