சுக்விந்தர் சிங், பஞ்சாப் மாநிலம் அமிர்தசரஸ்ல இருக்குற ஹத்தி கேட் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்தவர். 8 வயசுல இருந்தே பாடகரா தன்னோட வாழ்க்கையை ஆரம்பிச்சார். முதல்முதலா டி.சிங் கூட இணைஞ்சு, ‘முண்டா சவுத்ஹால் டா’ங்குற பஞ்சாபி ஆல்பத்தை வெளியிட்டார். அதுக்குப் பின்னால இசை உலகில கொடிகட்டிப் பறந்த லக்ஷ்மிகாந்த்-பியாரேலால் குழுவுல இணைஞ்சார். கிலாஃப்-ங்குற இந்திப் படம் மூலமா பிரேக் கிடைக்க, பிசியானார் சுக்விந்தர். ஆனால் தன்னோட குரல்ல ஏதோ குறையுதேனு நினைச்சவர், மும்பையில இருந்து இங்கிலாந்து, அமெரிக்கானு பல ஊர்களை சுத்தி இசையைக் கேட்க ஆரம்பிச்சார். அப்போதான் பாட்டுக்கு உயிர் கொடுக்கணும்ங்குற விஷயத்தைக் கத்துக்கிட்டு இந்தியாவுக்கு திரும்பி வந்தார்.

ஏ.ஆர் ரகுமார் ரட்சகன் படத்துக்கு இசையமைக்கும்போது சுக்விந்தர்சிங்கை ‘லக்கி லக்கி’ பாடலுக்கு பயன்படுத்தினார். தமிழ் ரசிகர்களுக்கு புதிதான அனுபவத்தைக் கொடுக்கும குரலாக இருந்தது. பிறகு தில் சே-க்காக.., ஏ.ஆர்.ரஹ்மான் சுக்விந்தரை “சைய சையா” படத்திற்காக பயன்படுத்தினார். அது தமிழ்ல உயிரே-ங்குற தலைப்புல வெளியானது. தமிழ் வெர்சன்லயும் ‘தைய தயா’ பாட்டை இவர்தான் பாடியிருந்தார். இந்த தைய தயா பாட்டுல இவரோட குரல் ஒருவிதமான சந்தோஷத்தைக் கொடுத்தத்து. இந்திப்பக்கம் இவர் இன்னைக்கு ஸ்டேஜ்ல ஏறினாலும், “சைய சையா” பாட்டைப் பாடாம இறங்க மாட்டார். அந்த அளவுக்கு இந்தி சினிமா ரசிகர்கள் கொண்டாடும் பாடல் அது.
உலக அளவுல நடந்த ஆஸ்கார் விழாவுல இவர் பாடுன பாட்டு ஒண்ணு ஆஸ்கார் விருது வாங்கிச்சு. அது என்ன பாட்டுனு யோசிச்சு வைங்க. அதை வீடியோவோட கடைசியில சொல்றேன்.
ஏ.ஆர்.ரகுமான் பாராட்டு!
அடுத்ததா தமிழ்ல 5 படங்கள்ல பாடுறார். ஆனா, பீல்குட்டா இருந்ததே தவிர, பெருசா பேசப்படலை. இப்பதான் பெண்ணின் மனதைத் தொட்டு படத்துல கமிட் ஆனார். அப்போ இவருக்கு கொடுத்திருந்தது, பீட் சாங். நண்பர் பிரபுதேவாவுக்காக குரல் கொடுக்க வந்தார். அந்த பாட்டு ‘நான் சால்ட்டு கொட்டா’, இதுல சால்ட்டு கொட்டானு சொல்லும்போது கொட்டா வர்ற இடத்துல குரல்ல ஏக்கம் இருக்கும். நீ சைதாபேட்டைனு சொல்லும்போது குரல் ஹை பிச்சுக்கு போகும். இப்படி வேரியசன்ஸை கொடுத்து உயிர் கொடுத்திருப்பார். இதுல இவரோட வாய்ஸை நல்லா கவனிச்சா பாட்டு டியூன்மேல குரலும் இன்னொரு டியூன் போடுற மாதிரி இருக்கும். இதுதான் அவருக்கான பலம்னு சொல்லலாம். ஒருமுறை இசையமைப்பாளர் ஏ.ஆர். ரகுமானும் ‘உங்ககூட பாடும்போது ரெண்டு இசையமைப்பாளர் சேர்ந்து வேலை செய்யுற மாதிரியே இருக்குனு’ இதை வெளிப்படையாவே சொல்லி பாராட்டியிருக்கார்.
விஜய்க்கு செய்த சம்பவம்!
மறுபடியும் வானத்தைப்போல படத்துக்காக பிரபுதேவாவுக்காக ‘நதியே அடி நைல் நதியே’னு குரல் கொடுக்குறார். இந்த பாட்டுலயும் ஒரு மேஜிக் பண்ணியிருப்பார். பாடும்போது ட்யூன் ஒலிக்கிற இடங்கள்ல இவரோட குரல்தான் ஹைபிச்ல இருக்கும். ட்யூன் கொஞ்சம் டவுனாவே டிராவல் ஆகும். அடுத்ததா விஜய் மாஸ் கமர்சியலுக்கு தயாராகிட்டிருந்த நேரத்துலதான் வித்யாசாகர் சுக்விந்தர்சிங்கை அழைச்சு ஒரு பாட்டை பாடுங்கனு கேட்கிறார். ஏன்னா இந்த குரல் அப்போதான் தமிழ்ல ஹை பீட்டுக்காக பாடப்போகுது. அந்த பாட்டு ‘அர்ஜூனரு வில்லு’. இந்த பாட்டுக்குப் பின்னால விஜய்க்கு இப்படி ஒரு பாட்டு இதுவரைக்கும் வந்தது இல்லனுகூட சொல்லலாம். இந்த பாட்டுக்காக மாண்டேஜ் எடுத்துக்கிட்டிருக்கும்போது ஸ்பாட்ல இந்த பாட்டை தரணி, விஜய்க்கு போட்டுக் காட்டியிருக்கார். என்ன பிரமாதமா இருக்குப்பா, ஆமா யார் படத்துக்கு போட்ட பாட்டு இது’னு கேட்க, ‘ஏங்க நம்ம படத்துக்குத்தான். இதுக்குத்தான் மாண்டேஜ் எடுத்துக்கிட்டிருக்கோம்’னு சொல்ல, விஜய் ‘நல்ல எனர்ஜி பாட்டா இருக்குங்க’னு சொல்லியிருக்கார். இந்த பாட்டுல பீட்டும், சுக்விந்தர் சிங்கோட குரலும் ஒண்ணா பயணிக்கும். இன்னைக்கும் கார்ல போகுறப்போ, 50 கிலோமீட்டர்ல போற கார் 120 கிமீட்டர் வேகத்துல பயணிக்கும். அந்த அளவுக்கு டெம்ப்போவை கூட்டி, வெறியேத்துற மாதிரி இருக்கும்.
அடுத்ததா டிஸ்யூம் படத்துக்காக கிட்ட நெருங்கிவாடி பாட்டை பாடுறார், சுக்விந்தர்சிங். இந்தமுறை விஜய் ஆண்டனி இசையமைப்பாளர். ஹை பிச்சுக்கே சவால்விடுறேன்னு பாட்டைப் பாட ஆரம்பிச்சார், சுக்விந்தர். வெல்கம் டூ த க்ளாப்னு வாய்ஸ் வந்து ஆரம்பிக்கும். ‘வர வர வர பம்ஸ்பிப்பப்பர’னு சரணத்தையே ஹைபிச்ல கொடுத்து மாஸ் சம்பவம் பண்ணியிருப்பார். இதைப் பார்த்த விஜய் ஆண்டனி இவ்ளோ வயசுலயும் நமக்கே டஃப் கொடுக்குறாப்லயேனு நினைக்கிறதுக்கும் சான்ஸ் இருக்கு. குத்தாட்டம் போட வைக்கிற அந்த மாதிரியான குரலுக்கு கொஞ்சம் சிணுங்கலையும் சேர்த்து அந்த பாட்டை பாடியிருப்பார், சுக்விந்தர். கடைசியா ஈசன் படத்துல இந்த இரவுதான் பாட்டையும் பாடியிருப்பார். இதுக்கப்புறம் தமிழ் சினிமாவுல இவர் பாட்டே பாடலை.
