ஐ.ஏ.எஸ், ஐ.பி.எஸ் ஆக வேண்டும் என்பது இன்றைய இளைஞர்கள் பலரின் கனவு. இந்தக் கனவை நிறைவேற்ற ஒவ்வொருநாளும் விடாமுயற்சியுடன் யு.பி.எஸ்.சி மற்றும் டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி தேர்வுகளுக்கு இளைஞர்கள் தங்களை தயார் செய்து வருகின்றனர். அவர்களுக்கு உத்வேகம் அளிக்கும் வகையில் இருக்கிறார், கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்ட காவல்துறை உதவி ஆணையர் இ.சதீஷ்குமார். இதற்கு முன்பு அவர் திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டத்தில் சுமார் இரண்டு வருடங்களாக பணிபுரிந்து வந்தார். இவர் நாமக்கல் மாவட்டத்தில் திருச்செங்கோடு பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள இறையமங்கலம் கிராமத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவர். பொறியியல் பட்டதாரியான இவர் டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி குரூப் – 1 தேர்வில் வெற்றிபெற்று காவல்துறை உதவி ஆணையராகப் பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ளார். பயிற்சியின்போது முதல்வரிடம் இருந்து வாளையும் தங்கப் பதக்கங்களையும் பெற்றுள்ளார்.

சதீஷ்குமார் மெக்கானிக்கல் இன்ஜினியரிங் பட்டதாரி. காவல்துறையில் பொறுப்பேதற்கு முன்பு சாஃப்ட்வேர் துறையில் வேலை பார்த்து வந்தார். சாஃப்ட்வேர் துறையில் வேலைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டே டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி தேர்வுக்கான தயாரிப்புகளை மேற்கொண்டார். கடுமையான முயற்சியின் விளைவாக தேர்வில் வெற்றிபெற்று காவல்துறையின் முக்கிய அதிகாரியாகவும் பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ளார். தன்னுடைய பயணம் தொடர்பாக இவர் பேசும்போது, “என்னுடைய இன்ஸ்பிரேஷன் எனது நண்பரின் தந்தை பாலகிருஷ்ணன். அவர் காவல்துறை அதிகாரியாக இருந்தார். நான் கிண்டியில் உள்ள பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் மெக்கானிக்கல் இன்ஜினியரிங் முடித்தேன்.

கல்லூரியில் படிக்கும்போது வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் வர ஆரம்பித்தபோது நேர்காணல்களில் கலந்துகொண்டேன். எனது மதிப்பெண்கள் மிகவும் குறைவாகவே இருந்தது. எனினும், ஆண்டுக்கு மூன்று லட்சம் சம்பளம் தரும் சாஃப்ட்வேர் நிறுவனம் ஒன்றில் எனக்கு வேலை கிடைத்தது. ஆனால், என்னுடைய தந்தை எங்களது உறவினர்களிடம் ஆண்டுக்கு ஆறு லட்சம் சம்பளம் பெறும் முக்கிய நிறுவனம் ஒன்றில் வேலை செய்வதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இந்த விஷயம் எனக்கு தெரியாது. ஒருநாள் இந்த விஷயம் எனக்கு தெரிய வந்தபோது குற்ற உணர்வு ஏற்பட்டது. இதன்பிறகு, டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி குரூப் – 1 தேர்வுகளை எழுத முடிவு செய்தேன். தேர்வுக்கு தயாராவதற்காக நாமக்கலில் இருந்து சென்னைக்கு வந்தேன். எனது நண்பர் இதற்காக எனக்கு வழிகாட்டினார்.

2016-ம் ஆண்டு தேர்வு எழுதியபோது முதல் முயற்சியில் எனக்கு வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கவில்லை. என்னுடைய குறிக்கோள் தெளிவாக இருந்ததால் எதுவும் என்னை பாதிக்கவில்லை. நான் தேர்வை மீண்டும் எழுதினேன். மாநில அளவில் ஏழாவது இடத்தைப் பெற்றேன். அப்போது ஏ.டி.ஜி.பி ஜாஃபர் சேட்டையும் நான் சந்தித்தேன். அது எனக்கு உத்வேகமாக இருந்தது. பிறகு அகாடமி ஒன்றில் இணைந்து பயிற்சி பெற்றேன். சீனியர் காவல்துறை அதிகாரிகளைச் சந்திக்கும் வாய்ப்பு எங்களுக்கு கிடைத்தது மிகவும் அதிஷ்டமாக அமைந்தது. அவர்களின் கதைகளை எங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். அதேபோல எனக்கு அற்புதமான பேட்ச் மேட்கள் கிடைத்தனர். அவர்கள் என்னை ஊக்கப்படுத்திக்கொண்டே இருந்தனர். எனது பலங்களை சுட்டிக் காட்டினர். இது மோட்டிவேஷனாக எனக்கு அமைந்தது” என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
